This Isn't Our First Pour
We’ve already struck gold once, and Tocvan Ventures is ready to do it again. With a track record of successful gold extraction, we are now setting the stage for our upcoming pilot mine, poised to showcase our proven ability to turn geological promise into tangible results.
-
10-year permit fully secured for construction and operation
-
Direct path to production, designed to validate and optimize extraction methods leading to future commercial operations
-
Strategic location fully road-accessible within the established Gran Pilar Project
The Gold Standard
The success of nearby producers delivering impressive annual output with low all-in sustaining costs (AISC) validates Tocvan’s unparalleled profit potential as it nears production. With gold prices at historic highs, exceeding $4k, the high-margin environment is clearly evident, setting the stage for profitability.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
FAQs
What kind of material will be processed at the pilot mine?
The pilot mine will process high-grade ore with a focus on maximizing gold and silver recovery. This material comes from areas with strong drilling results and new trenches, including:
6.1 meters of 5.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 39 g/t silver.
3.1 meters of 19.4 g/t gold (near surface).
42.7 meters of 41 g/t silver, including 10.7 meters of 136 g/t (4.4 ounces per tonne) silver from the surface.
What are the expected recovery rates for gold and silver?
Based on extensive metallurgical testing, we are highly confident in our recovery rates.
Rapid Recovery: Agitated bottle roll tests showed a rapid recovery of 80% gold and 94% silver within a 24-hour retention time.
Overall Recovery: By combining gravity recovery with agitated leach results, we achieved excellent overall recovery rates of 95-99% for gold and 73-97% for silver from five composite samples.
Bulk Sample Performance: A large-scale bulk sample test demonstrated an initial 62% gold recovery over a 46-day leaching period.
What is the average all in sustaining cost for producing gold mines in Sonora, Mexico?
Modern open pit bulk-tonnage mines (e.g. Mulatos/La Yaqui Grande, Alamos Gold): $1,000–$1,400/oz AISC.
What is the average grade of producing gold mines in Sonora, Mexico?
For bulk-tonnage, open pit mines in Sonora, the average gold grade usually falls in the range of 0.5–1.7g/t Au, with most operations clustering around ~0.7g/t Au for current mining.
What are the key specifications and features of the pilot mine facility?
Capacity: The facility is designed to process 50,000 tonnes of ore.
Infrastructure: The mine has a permitted 1.76-hectare infrastructure footprint to support optimal material flow and processing.
Processing Method: We will use a hydrometallurgical process with a Sodium Cyanide Solution (600 parts per million concentration) to leach the metals from the ore. The leaching cycle is optimized for a 60-90 day retention period to maximize recovery.
Material Preparation: The mineral is stacked in 4-6 meter beds and pre-conditioned with lime to maintain a pH of over 11.5, which ensures efficient leaching.
Recovery Process: After leaching, gold and silver are adsorbed onto activated carbon in five columns. The metals are then recovered from the carbon using the Zadra process at 135°C and 55 psi. The carbon is then reactivated at 650°C for reuse.
Where does Tocvan plan on getting water from for the pilot?
Water access from the community and local ranch. Water wells are part of the permitted design for access and monitoring.
How long does the approved permit last for?
Tocvan pilot mine production is approved for 10 years.
