Brodie Sutherland

CEO

Mr. Sutherland is a mineral exploration geologist, based in Calgary, Canada. With over sixteen years experience exploring for mineral deposits in over twenty countries. Brodie has a focus on economic geology and the development of grass roots mineral exploration projects through to feasibility.

Mr. Sutherland holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Geology) from the University of Alberta and has completed a Diploma Certificate in Environmental Management from the University of Calgary.

As a founding member of Tocvan Ventures Corp., a company actively exploring in Sonora, Mexico, Mr. Sutherland has played a pivotal role in building a local team of experts to breathe new life into undervalued projects.

Rodrigo Calles-Montijo

Rodrigo Calles-Montijo

Director

Mr. Calles-Montijo has been an integral part to the success of operations at the Pilar Gold-Silver Project and compliments the Board and management team with his experience and knowledge related to project development in Mexico.

Mr. Calles has over 30 years of global mineral exploration experience, working with groups that include Rio Tinto, Kennecott, SRK Consulting and as an independent consultant. Rodrigo holds a MSc. in Geology from the University of Sonora and is a registered Certified Professional Geologist. Mr. Calles-Montijo is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Luis Manuel Arroyo Dominguez

Director

Mr. Arroyo, a professional Mine Engineer, has over 48 years of professional experience in Mining Projects, Mine Operations, Mine Planning, Environmental Health and Safety, Community Development and Exploration. He has specific expertise in greenfield project development, open pit mine operations, and environmental health and safety. Mr. Arroyo brings a range of experience from exploration through to mine operations and environmental compliance and permitting through to mine closure.

Throughout his career Mr. Arroyo worked with companies that include ArcelorMittal, Luismin, SICARTSA, Peña Colorada, Minera del Norte. After serving a Director and Principal Mine Engineer for SRK Consulting Mexico, Mr. Arroyo formed a partnership with ECT Consultants, who specialize in providing Earth Science specialists to mining industry, including exploration and mining engineering.

Mr. Arroyo is a member of the Mining, Geologist and Metallurgist Mexico Association and CIMGM, Mr. Arroyo was a candidate (2015) for the National Mining Environmental Award and served as President of the Sustainable Development Council, Durango from 2000 to 2001. 

Ralph Wintermantel

Director

Mr. Wintermantel has been active in the financial market for over 20 years. After heading the communications and investor relations departments of several listed companies in Germany, he spent around three years at Deutsche Bank AG, most recently as Vice President. During these three years, he was internally and then after externally responsible for the financial magazine db-Xpress as Editor-in-Chief for 12 years. Since 2009 he was Managing Director of the VPC Group – a communications and marketing agency focusing on capital markets, IPOs and roadshows and since summer 2022 he offers the same services with his own company WINKAP.

Yana Silina

CFO

Ms. Silina has worked in the accounting field providing her services mainly to venture capital companies since 2008. Ms. Silina is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Thompson Rivers University. Ms. Silina is a senior accountant at Da Costa Management Corp., a Company that provides bookkeeping and accounting services to both public and private companies. Ms. Silina is currently CFO and director of Cell MedX Corp (OTC QB: CMXC), CFO of Stuhini Exploration Ltd. (TSX.V: STU), and a director of Kesselrun Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: KES).
